Someone commented on Tuesday on my last post anonymously saying UPDATE YOUR JOURNAL YOU FOOL and then replied to themselves two seconds later saying "oh wait it's only been 3 days? nvm, sry fr th bthr." Which made me lol a lot and vow to update the next morning, which is why you get this post like five days later. Ummmm oh well. SORRY, ANONYMOUS LADY. :( YOU CAN YELL AT ME NOW.

Order of business: I completely forgot to follow up on the Chicago dinner party thing, but I still really want to do it! The way my schedule is shaking out, Saturday nights are the only viable option, so I'm just going to propose three, have my lovely Chicago ladies vote, and whichever date has the most people check the ticky will be the winner.

your subject line reminded me of this rhyme that i guess i must have learned when i took that german class when i was a wee little kid that went, "eins zwei, polizei, drei wier, grenadier, veunf sechs, _____??, sieben acht, guten nacht" and i could never remember what the 5/6 rhyme was, but i finally googled it and it is, in fact, alte hex. success \o/

was that not a great story?? :D :D :D

Okay, this is a true story, Ils. I was walking home from Hyde Park produce and walked by your apartment and like, waved to the apartment building (I could totally see into the sunroom and saw the poster) and was all "Hi Hannah! Hey Ils!" because I'm a creepster, apparently.

AWKWARD but really, I never pay attention to music stuff unless it's bandom because I'm such a complete music loser. Like the last time someone in bandom tried to rec music to me I had to listen to Mark Rose and have never felt more like a plebe in my life.

I assume those people are music though because Huey Lewis is music but if I'm wrong then I apologize.

I JUST CHECKED THE ONE THING THAT I THOUGHT MIGHT HAVE DOUBLE BOOKED AND IT'S A DIFFERENT WEEKEND. I would still need to find some place to stay and get my butt in gear wrt to the thesis (I WROTE FIVE WHOLE PARAGRAPHS TODAY) but it's looking likely! :D
